Welcome to the Endometriosis Community

Endometriosis Waikato is the local community organisation supporting the 20% of women and teenage girls affected by this significant condition.  Our vision is to empower women to become expert patients to best manage their endometriosis, and build a strong endometriosis community providing mutual support and encouragement. We work collaboratively with women, health providers and other community organisations, to provide credible information, education and community support, and raise awareness in the wider community

While endometriosis is very common, it can be an isolating illness. Many women find that becoming informed and seeking family and community support can be valuable to help manage the condition and being assertive when seeking treatment.
